Yoga Therapy is a client centred approach that helps you reach your physical, mental, emotional or spiritual goals and supports you at a multi-dimensional level.

Meet your Yoga Therapist

Hi, I’m Jenny and I am a qualified Yoga Therapist with the Yoga Therapy Institute (Sydney). I see clients in person at my yoga studio near Branxton and also offer a zoom option. So, what’s Yoga Therapy? Yoga Therapy is a holistic client centred approach to health and wellbeing. Unlike other therapies, with Yoga Therapy – you are very much in the driver’s seat! Based on a holistic assessment of your lifestyle, your goals and your circumstances, your yoga therapist will come up with a tailored yoga home yoga practice for you.

How does it work?

The face to face or zoom session will have a discussion and practical techniques component. You’ll also receive documented guidance on any lifestyle or yoga practices that you can incorporate into daily life. Yoga therapy could involve yoga postures, breathing practices, relaxation techniques, meditation and lifestyle changes – whatever it is, it’s the perfect combination for you, your level & your need. This is a nurturing, ongoing and supportive process. It’s not about finding a ‘cure’ but about helping you make small incremental changes that make life better (without the side effects!). Yoga Therapy is a fantastic type of therapy for anyone interested in wellness and personal growth. There is no end point as such.

Private Yoga & Yoga Therapy support
Yoga Therapy works alongside of other health modalities

How does it fit with other health modalities?

It can work alongside of any other health or wellness care you may already be receiving either from your GP, psychologist, osteopath etc. – in fact we take all of that into account. We don’t pretend to be experts in all fields but aim to compliment any other health therapies you may be receiving and to respect their place in your life.

How is it different to other therapies?

Yoga Therapy looks at how the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and lifestyle areas of your life fit together. There is no one size fits all. A yoga therapist takes the time to get to know you and understand your needs at a multi-layered level. When you think about it, there aren’t many therapies like that. As a yoga therapist, I don’t start with the premise that there is something wrong with you, not at all. Each and every one of us can benefit from yoga therapy if we have the desire to heal or to transform some aspect of our life – and you deserve support along the way. We all do!

Yoga Therapy is not a quick fix solution

Yoga Therapy Structure & Pricing

If you’ve come to yoga therapy, you may have already come to the conclusion that quick fixes don’t work and that changing health habits can be hard. Especially when you have a lifetime of conditioning to overcome. We understand that challenge and want to set you up for the best chance of success. After an initial assessment, you’ll get access to our joint online portal which you and your yoga therapist has access to. Your yoga therapy practices will be provided here and you’ll also have the ability to track your progress.

Yoga Therapy puts you in the driver’s seat of your health and that’s empowering!
